Game Day - Tiges V Swans

The boost in confidence from this game is probably more valuable than the 4pts. Massive result.

That was exciting!

Not so much the win, but the moments that our young cubs stood up when their moment came.

Really happy for the players and of course Ooze.

The distance he's cover has been pivottal to us being in this. Couple of shanks, but also some strong play. Go and nuke your imaginary membership you his cousin or some

Huge win. Dow, Sonz, Campbell, Brown, Young, Lefau, Maurice, Ross, they may not all make it, if even if they do they may not all be world beaters, but they all contributed and huge for their development. Rapt

It is critical lol, particularly in a game like that lol. And his good work also significantly outnumbers his bad lol. lol.

Guts & determination & unwilting pressure overcame our kicking deficiencies. Thought we were the better side all day but just our poor kicking, including heaps of turnovers, kept them in it.

Coaches might blame some of that on fatigue but reality is it’s the one area we have to improve on. Can see what a difference Brown, Campbell & even Sonsie (with limited touches) make kicking the ball compared to Pickett, Bolton and Maurice junior. To be fair to the latter, that’s probably the best two quarters he’s ever played after half time.

Pleased with Miller down back, Young was better after halftime and by having them there it allowed Vlaustin (superb) & Broad to intercept. D. Rioli superb too.

Not sure about forward mix - Lefau looks slow to me, despite the two goals & I think the time has come to play a genuine second ruck and let Balta be a forward - he was spent today.

Bring McAuliffe in and see if we can beat the Saints - they aren’t that good.

Desire win. Persistence win.

Agree with others, 20 games worth of experience into the cubs.

Just fantastic.
