GAME DAY - TIGES V SWANS

Really looking forward to the contest today against a young challenger. Reckon we might step things up ourselves today. Tiges by 30.
This. We'll crank things up today to put the swans back in their box.

In the heat, you'd think the kids in their first pre-seasons will wilt faster than our hardened warriors.

The line is at ~30 points which is where we'll probably back off and coast. We're at a significant disadvantage against Port in 6 days and will want to save some petrol for that: Houli, Vlastuin and Ross in as fresh legs.

I think winning this game is more important than next week , defend our fortress , the MCG is our home , send them packing

Love all the optimism on here, but if we win I will be happy, even by a point or two.

So far the Swans have been awesome and if they happen to roll us would not be surprised.

Hope not of course, but be prepared for a red hot game.

Anything of interest happening before the game ?
First game my 10yo and I are attending for 18 month, wouldn't mind going in earlier and making a day of it.

We are going to have to play better than we have in the first 2 weeks. We have been ok in the middle and the back half but forward of the centre we have been ordinary.
I’m expecting a good game and for us being challenged.

Gusty winds at the moment.
Could cause havoc on Sydney's ball movement. But add more Kao's to ours.
Giddy up shiit kickers

They love to attack the corridor, we defend the corridor better than anyone. Going to be interesting to see how this pans out.

Reckon Tiges by about 25.

Rioli officially the sub.
Strange decision.
I would have run him into form in the 2s.
But sadly I’m not the coach.

Very strange! It’s not really dropped if you become the sub. Maybe it’s a wake up call. Why not make Collier-Dawkins the sub and give him a taste . He would be perfect with the sting out of the game and come on and use his pace. Or Hugo for that matter.
