Put Bolton and Edwards in the middle and Cotch and Geahm on the *smile* bench. Absolutely useless

Typical early season game for us against a bottom 8 team from the prior year. When the whips cracked in the 2nd half of the year, we will be in the race. But will the swans?
Well if they go into round 4 at 3-0 they are closer to a finals spot than us at 2-1, and Im sure their draw is easier than ours too.

We had a spurt there when we got back into it. Short-lived but if any team can come back from here, it's us. But we've got to dig deep and if we do it, we need to prepare ourselves for the Brave Swans headlines.

In this weather I don’t think we can get back 6 goals. Unless we win by a kick on the siren.
Some say it's using excuses, but gifted frees to the oppo really hurts to gain momentum and that's what has happened here. As we're not 100% early in the season, we would've been better playing Norf instead of a young team who's done their homework and built up really well during pre-season.

I recon this is what happens when you select a team for structural reasons rather than on form. Aarts and caddy, soft egg? No thanks. Too many players with their heads up their asses.
Great post. Form been poor for a numbers of players first 2 games, including Lynch, Caddy, Aarts, Pickett, Rioli. The heat and open game style is a worry for Cotch, lost a lot of pace.

No doubt. Swans will be tired after that half.
Counting on us to bring the Ferrari out 3rd Q

We played just as badly last week really. But this is serious oppo. I watched both swans games and they were very very good.
Thought we toyed with Hawthorn. We still missed tackles but were sharp enough with the ball. Today we’ve missed a lot of targets and given it straight to the opposition.

Not sure whether the heads roll next week or the same olds get one chance to atone.

Bolton 2 disposals minus 14 metres gained. Is that even possible? With Prestia out he had to step up but has inexplicably gone completely missing.

This is more a reality check for the coaches. Bet you Dimma will claim he didn't do proper homework on them.

Too late.

The catastrophic thinking button has already been pressed; 3 pints into this afternoon.

Balanced thinking may resume after 6pm this evening.

Not saying they won't make it. They may. But we won't be this far away from them at the back end of the year

Loss today. Loss next week. Dimmas relationship will suddenly come to the fore. Going to be interesting to see just how great a club we really are. Gonna have to start making some tough calls and get some hunger back in the side. Rioli, Caddy and Aarts need to go now. Pickett and even Graham have to be close to emergency and twos. Captain getting closer to father time. Really missing Soldo.

No coming back. Swans look fresh. Not playing the sapping game style but getting it down the middle at will.
