GAME DAY - Tiges v Dogs

We're still in this but we're hanging on by our finger tips, finger tips that are being stamped on by the Umps.

Pre game thought we would get flogged. We have been much better than I had expected.
Tidy the kicking for goal and we may get up.
Dogs aren’t looking as good as I thought they were.

Reckon RCD has done ok. Another half like that and he's probably earned another week.

Broad and Baker can hold their heads up high so far but the rest just not in it
Nanks and Shai have tried hard and battled hard, Riewoldt and Tom have worked hard but no reward. Graham a dfew nice things but not much else going on.

Smashed on the spread.

Transition both ways poor.

Yeah, given our outs and I think a lack of confidence if the Dogs can’t beat us tonight, they’re not contenders.

Dimma framed this game as a battle of the systems. If our system fails, we could see more innovation again. Might put us ahead of the curve again for a few years, which we do need to try and do, as we’ve seen a lot of clubs change this year

What's happened to our forward pressure??

Non existent.

They are walking it out
Crumbers are all *smile*. When did Rioli or Castagna last play a good game? When was the last time they were game changers? Aarts is fringe at best. Jack and Tom are trying but Jack is showing his age and Lynch’s goal kicking confidence is shot atm. Bombing endlessly into the forward line all year. Most other teams are clinical kicking at goals and we have to be the worst in the comp this year.

The most obvious deficiency at the ground is the forward line. Mids breaking even, Backs going okay, but holy crap the forward line.

It's Riewoldt, Lynch or nothing.

You can't play two against six. As soon as we inevitably miss or spill the ball they can uncontested, no pressure, run the ball along the wing, or even through the centre.

The mids are doing their best to hit up a target, but I'm sitting here, watching on the wing, with no pressure on me, and I can't see one.

Rioli and Castagna are chasing their opponents up the wing. And Aarts is jogging around no one on the half forward flank not making leads or being in any way useful.

I feel like we are just holding on. Floodgates could well open up here. Scrappy footy won’t beat this highly skilled Dogs team.
