Game Day - Tigers v Swans

On another note, I thought it was great how Chol requested 22 tickets for his family/friends to attend the game....the camera went to them on numerous occasions and they were loving it... then Chol ran over to them after the game and gave them all a wave...reckon Cholly lifted a bit because of it...maybe they should allow him to have 44 tix for next week
22 per phone. then?

I'd like to see them further enforce the 6-6-6 with a regulation to see at least 2 players from each team remain in each 50m arc.
No way. Would lead to the farce of a player unable to leave his 50 to contest a footy one metre from him.

What did Dimma say Spook?
Something like "it was a horrible game but it's a bit hard when you look up and there are 75,000 players in your 50".

I remember the “chip chip chip” win against Adelaide under plough many years ago and the fact that i actually hated that win, I was almost embarrassed by it.
If Sydney had won today I would hope their supporters would be embarrassed as well. That’s not the way anyone should want the game played.
Disagree on our win against Adelaide. We chipped it because they were flooding, and our blokes refused to kick it to them. It was a triumphant "*smile* you" to Neil Craig, who'd play his full forward behind the ball if he could.

Horrendous to watch but footy may not be on much longer so better than nothing.

The backline was awesome today. Grimes, Broad, Vlastuin, Baker, Short & Egg with KMac helping.

The forward movement? Throw it in the bin!!

You cant have one state test 30000 people in one day,.
While other states aren't testing those numbers in a month.
What's NSW testing numbers?
What's QLD testing numbers??

I reckon the brotherhood will kick in the further the hub rolls on.

As far as today goes, no not exquisite, but we pretty much saw Longmire’s pitiful stake and raised it, like two leery old blokes tossing dollar coins into a smoke-filled back-cafe game of poker.

Pretty sure we were never gonna lose that one. Defence reigned supreme and will be the backbone of 2020.
Love your confidence, but the swans had a chance to goal to put them within a quick of winning with only a minute or so to go, and could have snatched it from there with a bit of luck.

Sure we would have probably defended the slim lead, but it would have been a massive sphincter tightening affair and not the done deal your suggesting.

Come on people. This time last year we were eighth on the ladder with a percentage of 102%. Geelong was on top with 142%.Fat lot of good it did them.Yes the win was ugly but at the moment given they are still in isolation with little freedom it would be a bit unsettling IMO.And look at the brightside we play North away from that crap stadium for the first time since living memory.Top 4 after next round.

We've beaten Blues, Demons, Swans. Good to win them but none have been convincing so I'm not that confident yet. All but maybe Cotchin still out for at least another 3 weeks (or is that even longer now for Houli and Edwards) ?

Talking through his arse. Richmond had a line of four players across the centre for at least a quarter with nobody behind them.

Yeah he can claim what he likes but I'm sure the footage would disagree with whatever he says. Even Hodgy who i think was the only 1 at the ground stated a number of times that they had parked the bus or had no-one forward of centre.

Longmire is a lying arrogant prick.

"We didn't put an extra player behind the ball, we went with the 6 6 6"

What?!?! You put an extra 5 blokes behind the ball! Every chance you could.
I'm glad Hardwick gave him a clip.

Yep, a couple of nice clips from Dimma, good work.

"There's not much I can do. We're attacking and we've got seventy-five thousand people in our forward 50.
...
I didn’t think we were much chance of scoring, but they were no chance of scoring."
