I seem to remember it was even worse for Brisbane in the QF last year, they whinged about missed shots and when you looked at where they were kicking from you weren't surprised they missed. We seem to be able to force Brisbane wide or into long shots on goal. If they are serious Brisbane need to prevent this as the good teams will take note and take advantage.
That looks to be on the app I have, Footy Live, it is a really good piece of info to have, shows how some teams can force their opposition wide and defend the area in front of goal well. A bit of talk tonight in the StKilda game about how many shots they get from close to goal, a good strategy from StKilda there, you want shots close and straight.

Old man Fages doesn't think kicking for goal is an issue, and the media have spoken about it more than he has with his team.
I hope he doesn't spend much time on it, they might figure out how to fix it, but if you can'[t kick straight against the rest of the Top 4 you can't win the flag IMO.
Brisbane last 2 seasons (2019 and 2020) have kicked at 39.5% and 34.8% against the top 4.
The last 3 premiers (we know who they are) kicked the following against the Top 4.
2017 - 50.9%
2018 - 54.3%
2019 - 56.8%
