Game Day Tigers V Dogs

I imagine it will be the same as last time. and I couldn't work out if it was 4,000 or 8,000.

I was told 4,000 but they divide the ground in half (zone 1 and zone 2) and no movement in-between

and I suspect the 4,000 figure was per zone.

it felt like more than 4,000?

Hows that for a non-answer?

I feel like this is our Port Adelaide Mopsy.

you going'?

Unfortunately not this time Ezy, got kids sporting commitments to attend.

I'm all in for the Brissie game though.

Spoilt for choice us northerners are!

Got to, at the very least, nullify their midfield. If they get clean possession out of the middle we are stuffed, but then, that's always the case.

Win in the middle or make sure their clearances are under immense pressure and are spraying out everywhere and we are a good chance.

Soldo needs to hit Boney Maloney hard.

Yes, but not give away frees - remember Dogs are Dumps' love-children. Soldo has to be able to stop English marking around the ground too, keep up with him. That's where Chol can come in very handy.

I love it. Everyone all dark and gloomy about our chances and the prospect of an orgasmic victory if we get over the dogs!

They will win the midfield but most teams do against us. They simply cannot kick enough goals with that forward line. Expect Lynch to remind us of his ability tonight. I think Keath will get him and Cordy on Reiwoldt, Keath can struggle one on one. We just have to get some isolation.

We must tag the Bont hard.

Getting as close to breaking even in the midfield is crucial. They have massive BWA and last year just wouldn't let us have the ball - 112 more disposals! Dunkley had 35 of those though and he's not playing. Hunter had 22- not playing, Naughton 14 marks, 5 goals - not playing. We didn't have Chimp, Jack, Marlion, Short, although we did have Dion and Shedda.

We've beefed up our BWA for this. Nank and English broke even in the hitouts last year. Soldo should win them and with Cotch back we should better take advantage than we did last week. Ross is a BWA upgrade on Graham. Shai is now a mid instead of a small forward. Soldo-Cotchin-Martin-Bolton v English-Libba-Macrae-Smith (Bont playing more forward, big job for Grimes) - we should win our share of clearances.

Another key is the pressure on their running backs. JJ, Daniel, Williams all give a lot of drive. Wood and Crozier are good interceptors so we need to bring it in better and convert more. As long as our backs are not under siege they should hold firm.

50/50 game. Gotta get the ball.
