I agree that's what would be expected of him, and he has not delivered. I counted he was beaten 4 times in the air that half (once by Keays, a midfielder). He's been terrible anyway you slice it. Hope he has a big second half.

Has neturalised nothing. Either under the ball or way behind. Adelaide have had 7 or 8 contested marks in their D50. 1 disposal, zero marks, nothing in the ruck, 1 contested possession, 1 tackle. Compare to Reiwoldt who actually is laying the big dog and attracting the best backman. Extremely disappointing. I don't think Hardwick is very happy by the sound of his interview.

The other can be very damaging around the ground with his pace and agility and it ain’t caddy. Why are we obsessed with reassigning players to a position they don’t naturally fit. Reckon Nanks has done ok without any backup. He's being double teamed by O'Brien and Himmelberg. I am worried that he has no reasonable backup.
