GAME DAY Tigers V Bombers Dreamtime

OK, something we can agree on at least ! Well he's not the worst going around though, but to let an outside-meekly-timid type get 43+ possies is inexcusable, he's the type that is unsighted when there's a player willing to stick tight to him all game.

He had a lot of contested possessions to be fair

On Fox Johnson lead with "how good were essendon".
He was very excited about Arsendon.

Everybody is always very excited about Arsendon, every year.

Then they get disappointed every year as well.

Saw this post on BomberBlitz that I kinda agreed with.
It was like those discovery channel docos where like a pack of wild dogs is chasing a waterbuck and it kicks and runs around and you go, “oh this dopey looking beast is actually going to escape these dogs”, and then the dogs eventaully bring it down and eat it alive and rip it’s unborn baby out.

Needed more of the "anti-dew" spray. I can say I have learnt something today, had never heard of such a wonderous invention.
Apparently this magical spray is used routinely when the the two WA sides play.
Not sure why the ground's curators didn't use it tonight.
The slipping was shocking

I loved the camaraderie when they walked off the ground. Looked like a tight-knit group of great mates.

It showed on the field too, the way Pickett made sure he found Rioli for a goal, the celebration with Caddy for his.

The boys have been away for a few weeks and we can see a lot of love going around.

Great signs.
