Essendon are banging on about their local support and I understand it's pretty strong. I've always thought we have a fair contingent over your way too.
Wanna take a ping at the stumps on what the split will be tonight?

My idiot eagles mates reckon the tiger army is everywhere.
The number of membership stickers and RFC license plates dominate the roads, there's always a few watching the footy at most reputable establishments, I cannot even think if I have ever seen efc plates or stickers!
Thinking the crowd will be fairly well split but bombers way by the non believers as the hate for our success is everywhere.
It will be a more MCG like feel than an eagles game, the West coast supporters love having it their way and don't ever have a balanced crowd.

Essendon has played no team which pressures like us. the Pies, north, saints, eagles are not pressure teams. Freo is to a lesser extent and only lost by 7 pts at Marvel
We are well aware of how the bombers aim to play, we will have a plan in place for that. Which will force the bombers to kick down the line.

Agree, we have very good support as do the bombers in WA but the neutrals i dare say eagles/freo will support the bombers. The hate for us winning 3 flags in 4 years is high and the eagles despise us, not sure why but they do.

They should thank us for saving a supposedly favourite son in Cousins. .... yeah, I know, poor personal choices etc. etc..... but they basically washed their hands and cast him aside from a culture they were happy to roll with when no one was looking!

We play to our best we win.Can't afford drop off in quarters or bad starts been a habit.

Not sure how we can lose this. We're the better team. Essendon won a Grand Final last week. Shai & Marlion get to play a Dreamtime game, at home, in front of all their extended family. We don't lose to Essendon.

I'm sure there are other reasons we cant lose, but that will do for now.

I remember in the 90s when we‘d win a few games in a row and the media would talk us up big time then the Druggies would smash us by 10 goals every time. Let’s hope we do the same to them for a long while yet

we are an 8 goal better side than the Drugsters but we will win by 15 ( goals )

Fixture change will be announced shortly - now locked in. @WestCoastEagles will now play @Richmond_FC in round 13 - next Sunday at @OptusStadium Moved forward from round 14.
I guess that works out better for us to stay there and play the eagles and then have the bye RD 14

Astbury and Lambert are expected back for next weeks game. The Eagles still have a lot of players out, plus they play Carlton in Sydney tomorrow.

Yep Bombers are 16th for clearance per opposition (we're 18th) and 16th for contested (we're 15th).

Yep. Just saw some guy going off on FB about how we have only beaten one team in top 8, we aren't what we were and we are there for the taking.

So then I looked at who the Bummers have beaten: Norf, Aints,, Pies, Dockers and a half strength Weagles. Hardly stand out results. They've also been beaten by the blues, Dawks...lol and fell in against the Giants.
