Did wanted need to be done to win.

Dominated the game after half time BUT those lapses in concentration late in the last qtr are a huge worry

24 to 9 centre clearances our way suggests the delivery into the forward line needs tweaking.

It’s about where we are at imo. Better than quite a few others, probably good enough to finish 7-8, but a fair bit off the pace at the top

Sat through many many games like that before. Good sides win those. We are building. We are tweaking. I hope one of Sonsie or Banks can get into the side before the finals.

Rio and Shai are the only ones I see moving well at end of game while others look gassed. Other youth included.
Hawks a massive 3 YEARS 2 MONTHS younger on average per player. 60 games per player less experienced. Today was our oldest side all year. I know what it's like being older, you become more wiley to make up for the reducing speed and raw fitness. That's why I don't think we can truly compete with the better sides and are prone to periods of scoring avalanches against us.

It was an eight goal win masked by another umpiring bath. Very solid. Gibcus for biggy helps as does more match fitness into dusty. A fit/healthy lynch makes us pretty scary - he is definitely feeling it.
