GAME DAY THREAD - TIGES V POWER

Tigers making hard work of it.

You just cannot give these pricks a chance and with the umpires you have to take every opportunity,

So much great work and so much stupuidity to undo it.

Umps are killing us as well.

3 in the backs to Jackmond all play on Allir is pushing Riewoldt in every contest not called once.

Every shot at goal for them has resulted directly the result of a free kick, or chain of play resultant from a free kick.
You sound surprised, Craigo. Told you all it was going to happen. No way we will be allowed to win this. It's just a rigged code AFL.

get a few clearances early and negate the Umps influence .. we can win it without them!

they are dominant
I50s 35-20 and clearances 21-8. They are beating us to the ball way too easy. Need to sort our midfield or they will kick 10-2 this half.

They haven't put us away yet. They are murdering us in the clearances, marks, contested and inside 50s. Where there is life there is hope. If we hit them hard for 15 mins we can pinch this .
I am absolutely confident we will lose this game. But equally confident we will beat them in the finals.
I am still worried our midfield is in trouble - despite all the posts stating my original post was too negative/sky falling down stuff. We dont have enough fresh legs as two way, gut runners. And some shocking skills from our blokes - Pickett, Balta, Mansell, Martyn, Cotch is being caught with almost each possession.

We, as a Club, dont speak up enough. We are one of the Clubs treated with contempt. We actually know it. And the AFL knows it. And they know we know it, but dont do anything about it.
We should get Jake King to pay a visit.

Fatigue was starting to kick in, going to be interesting second half

Young Martyn miles off, but that's ok, it's a big test first up and would rather find out in Rd. 4. I reckon Mansell hasn't been too bad, like his attack on the ball. The problem we're having is that we're being killed in the middle and contested possession, umpiring goes without saying - it has been the same for years and we still won so we can't blame that

Castagna slowly becoming an irrelevant player with these new rulea. Any chance our Fwds can atleast bring the ball to ground
