Rioli just so typical of our inane forward line play. 30 metres out dead in front takes forever to kick it then gets called to play on and misses.

He has been *smile* for too long now, Time to bring in a new kid.
Pickett was useless today.
Caddy isnt good enough to stay in our best 22.

That was a pretty standard Richmond v Hawthorn game. Got a decent lead and simply held them at arms length for the rest of the game. I used to dislike Dunstall for the disdain he commentated us with, but now he’s full of praise for us. It seems he just dislikes *smile* football, which is what we often produced.

3.5 goals after half time.
Against properly the worse back 6 in the comp.
We have some players that can't hit targets, especially going inside 50.
 
Missed first 3 qtrs, was cue in the rack come 4th qtr?

Some sloppy forward 50 entries.
 
Another week, another solid win, another thread of PRE members whinging.

Christ, I doubt any of you could run 100 metres without a break let alone a full game of AFL.

As I thought it would play out. We’re the specialists in turning a 12-15 goal win into an ugly mongrel 3-5 goal win. That’s how we roll early in the season. 3 goals in second half against poor opposition is nothing to hang the hat on. On the plus side that’s the first round 2 win since 2017.

A lot of players well down on best form today. Nowhere near it. We have A LOT of improvement in us. A shitload. I know our forward line play is often scrappy but that was next level today. We left at least 8 goals on the table with poor decisions and execution.

Anyway burn the tape and focus on Swans next week. They are going well. Will need a big improvement on today’s performance to win.
 
Acoustic version of the team song in the rooms. Jack said it. We play low gear this part of season, BUT, we should be a bit cleaner in case we cop a shock performance from opposition.

Time to give Ross a full game.
