GAME DAY Round 13 - Tigers away to the Dockers

Disagree. He/any player cannot be restrained from taking their awarded kick. tried to free himself; nothing that hasn't been done dozens of times in AFL. Just soft.

The umps have allowed players to do this for far too long. Take a mark and THEN the player wraps their arms around and doesn't let go with the clear aim to hold the player up. Its the clearest example of players trying to stop the quick ball movement that they brought the stand rule in for, but they are more focused on making sure players don't move a fingernail on the mark, but other players allowed to hold players after they have marked the ball.

As I said, something was going on but you don't elbow in front of an ump as it will always be a free

It was but surely the ump could see the elbow and the delay in reaction. It clearly wasn't a natural reaction and 1 clearly aimed at conning the ump into paying a free.

Great run from SHai, and contest from Marlion, Juddy on the spot goal !!

Chimpa with the spike on the ball that set Shai out.

Classic Chimpamania.
