GAME DAY – R14 Tiges v Blues

Bog Pickett Prestia Nakas
What's Graham Edwards and Cotchin doing.
That Tacke by Pickett was the best tackle I've seem in 5 yrs.
I thought the dumb prick was going to award Cripps a dangerous tackle

I'm liking the composure and concentration. We now know the Blooze aren't a walk over anymore.

How many times has Edwards k8cked off the ground lately?
Wee little toe pokes....looks out of sorts in the pocket to...cant or will not chase.....but hopefully he can pull off some of his vintage magic tonight

Still bothers me to see more than ONE flying for the ball in these conditions, surely the players are smart enough to know the chances of marking even an uncontested ball is probably about 20% in these conditions.

Stay down and have the advantage of numbers at ground level, both up Forward and also down the Backline.

My word it's a terrible rule that "sliding into legs" !

How is a player expected to stop his momentum in these conditions ?

Gotta keep the feet at all costs tonight or there'll blokes falling down left, right and centre.
He’s meant to keep his *smile* feet. It’s a great rule that rewards courage to keep your feet not snakes that slide in.

How can you say that slide wasn't a free to Balta? That's what it was brought in for, he could have broken Noah's leg. Keep your damn feet.

Don't they say when you can't keep your feet it's time to hang up your boots?
Edwards had been slipping and sliding every where

It’s what the best players do. And what you are taught to do.

The player can choose to bend down and pick it up rather than sliding in. I hate that some players do it.

Our blokes pressure in the forward 50 seems to be always a meter short allowing them to clear the footy.
