GAME DAY – R14 Tiges v Blues

They are starting to overun us. Our ageing midfield is in trouble I think.

How can you say that slide wasn't a free to Balta? That's what it was brought in for, he could have broken Noah's leg. Keep your damn feet.
Nah, cant agree Spook.

I'm of the belief the rule was bought in to protect the guy "over the ball on his feet" from being taken out by a player who has chosen to leave his feet and slide imto the contest, thus risking the ball players legs.

Balta wasnt near that ball and the Carlton player had possession and his momentum on the wet ground was what took him a standing Balta, no way thats what the rule was implemented to stop.

If it was, as soon as a player goes to ground, just run in and "fall over him", is that what we want our game to turn into, a la soccer players feigning tackles that never even go close to contact ? I would hate to think so, far to much acting in the game as is.

We're playing better wet weather footy overall. Cripps is killing us with his creative play. What the hell is going on with Short. 11 disposals, 8 turnovers.
This is where metres gained is a crock of *smile*. 552m gained for a half appears amazing.

Premiership quarter - let’s just put the clamps on Walsh and Cripps and that’ll go a long way to winning.

Nice first half, the surge is back.

Need to pray to whatever God floats your boat for Prestia to be healthy all season. Is the key to a premiership.

38 inside 50s in a half. That's a lot.
Ralphy needs to lift or he will be the one making way at this stage for George and or Moju next week.

Jud needs to get his hands on it, more as well as he is a good user.
