Game Day: Last game of 2023 vs. Port

Don’t understand the Dow bashing. A couple of errors, but plenty of his way more experienced teammates are doing worse. Reckon he’s having a good game.

If only Balta and Bolton had the footy smarts of Dusty - well even of an average AFL player - they would be unstoppable.

2.7 for the quarter.

Great effort for the half, but it just kills us every time.

This is the deadest of rubbers. They are jsut slicing down the ground like a butter knife, and then cant be bothered defending. We are so hopeless in the forward half it doesnt matter.
They will probably kick 4 quick ones and put it to bed.
Soldo is Bolton's new goalkicking coach.

The problem we now have with Dylan is, who do we play him on next year?

His start of his career he mainly played on smalls and mediums and had pace and smarts to beat them - has lost any pace he had, so can't really do this role anymore
He then moved more onto talls, but he's now not really strong enough or tall enough to play on them.

Its quite a dilemma as I love Grimes, but its looking more and more difficult to find what position he plays next year.
Exactly. He is in no man’s land now. I doubt he’ll be captain next year so it won’t stand out as much if he spends more time out of the side than in. It’s a shame but at 32 he’s really slowed down now and the youngsters are showing plenty down back today, with Gibcus to return next year
