Friday night lights at the G , game day v the Saints

While i think Ryan is going to be beauty for us in years to come i dont think it was a smart selection this week. Rain aside we literally have 3 inexperienced talls in the side. Ryder will do as he likes. Would have preferred Parkwr in tonight. Saints are not overly tall so CCJ and Chol would have been enough. Hope im wrong

Yep, I simply cannot understand selecting this side tonight for this terrible weather. Looks to be raining all day and night on the BOM I see. Been steady for hours and now heavy.
Already posted that Dimma wants to try a more conventional style FL structure of sharp kick or just a bomb to a tall forward, mark, set-shot, goal.

The question is, is tonight the night? Hope Dimma didn't think the game was at that indoor stadium! Or are thery under-estimating the Aints based on form and last match? They're a 5-6 goal better side than last week with Marshall back plus Ross and Membrey.

Either way, I'm not too relaxed. Could be a close slog-fest that goes to the wire with anybody's game at the end. Aints will be fired up.

Agree. Just feel that weve shot ourselves in the foot this year in many games due to some poor team selections. Have a bad feeling tonight may be the same again

Do you think Ryder would go better on an inexperienced tall than an experienced small?

Marshall will struggle big time.. He's about 20 per cent match fit

With Nank out i think Ryder was going to dominate anyway so why you would bring in another inexperienced tall with rain forecast. As i said the conditions are suited for a hardened body like Parker. Rain will take away some of Ryders ruck advantage so we were better of bringing in a harder, quicker body.

Get the win as Dimma said cut out the lapses and school boy mistakes we win.

Is it still raining in the city? I live in the SE suburbs and we've had no rain since about 1pm.
