Friday night lights at the G , game day v the Saints

Said it a couple of weeks ago that Dimma needed to grow some balls and start making the tough calls. His reaction is to pick a young skinny 200cm ruckman in a wet game.

We are not winning anything this year. Honestly dont think we are even playing finals. Might as well use it as a transition year and get games into the likes of Miller, Dow, RCD, Martyn and the rest to see what they have.
Castagna, Aarts, Short, Chol and Houli are either done or not good enough anymore.

We’ve lost the ability to score. I can’t believe how bad our forward line has become.

This is not the Tigers I admire and love.
Different game style altogether and it does not work.

I question our composure. Are these players brainwashed to dispose the ball at will anywhere, anytime??

I never like this stupid chaos game plan and it's understandable how oppo supporters criticise it.

It also shows you how much we need Lynch for the hardness at the contest in the fwd line. We have nothing but a scramble after the spill.

This is 2016 revisited. Need to win clearance & be direct. Keep trying to switch play & all that happens is St Kilda load up behind the ball. Better to play one on one & make it a contest. Killed in ruck, and when we do finally get it inside 50, it’s into a contested mess. I don’t understand why we’re trying to play the way we are. Chol’s inconsistent lack of intensity is too frustrating. Ryan not ready & completely overawed.

Nank is the most valuable player in our team.
We surbived in 2019 because we had Soldos big body and tap outs to advantage plus our blokes were hungry and younger.

Our blokes are not looking hungry this year, too many have never got going.

We obviously are moving away from our small pressure fwds yet we continue to bomb the ball into the 50 with no one there to crumb the ball or apply pressure. Not sure what we are trying to do anymore

Totally perplexing this is.

Players running around as if they aren’t sure what they are meant to be doing.

If this is a new game style we are trying to implement it ain’t working

Only 4 goals down and 1 decent game plan out of this.
