Best ever? Why because it was close,??
What highlights??
It was close because it was 2 teams that don't know how to win. 1 can't win on that ground period vs a side that finds all different ways of losing GF's.
Overall a ordinary round 12 type GF
It wouldn't be in my top 10

My best GF's
2020 The hardest GF apprantly to win that's what the media was saying. Till we won it.

2019 To come back from losing a preliminary final when hot favourites.

2017 To beat a team that carried on all week where they were going to put the premiership cup. We have sent that club onto a down hill spin, that after 6 years they are still trying to come out of it.

2001 Brisbane beating the cocky Bombers.
I put up with shiit from Essendon supporters for 20 yrs, to watch them lose. It was the best.

2011 Buckley derailing Collingwood that was the best. Collingwood beating Collingwood.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Did Didak do the shimmy??

2018 Buckley losing to a side that had a shocking record at the MCG.

2016 Sydney get beaten by the umpires.
Footscary were allowed to hold onto the ball for 2 hrs and they could throw the ball without any punishment.

1992 Geelong losing a GF Malcolm Blight:ROFLMAO:

1994 Geelong losing a GF Malcolm Blight:LOL:

1995 Geelong losing by 10 goals again.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
It's a pity they wasted Ablett

Slapping session
Give me a break 'best GF' it was shiittView attachment 20951
Smoking the AFL propaganda pipe - as every football journalist is compelled to do. Otherwise their job is in danger of simply disappearing.

And for the record the 2023 GF was *smile*. A boring grind of mediocrity with the most entertainment coming from the broadcasting commentary as they tried and tried to inject some interest into that snore fest!

On the other hand, the NRL grand final was an absolute classic. Not just close but showcased everything great about rugby league.

The 2019 GF has to be in the top 3 of GFs
A couple of points the difference at qte time and then to watch a machine take over and destroy the 2nd best team in the competition.
The Tackling A1
The Goals A1
The Running A1+
The Game Plan A1++

While on the topic of 'best GFs', Fox is playing the 1993 GF under the banner of 'best games ever' this off-season.

Stepping away from the fact the Blues got murdered by the only club ever actually found to cheat the cap in a premiership year, the game as a spectacle was boring. Outside of Essendon supporters, you'd be hard pressed to find someone that would name a match decided by 44 points, and over from early in the piece, as one of the all-time greats.

Bizarre.

The WA tribe is very upset Hutchinson running of the Perth Wildcats and they want him out.
Apprantly they are going as bad as west coast.
Pity I don't like Basketball.

**Maybe Hutchy ate all the training balls mistaking them for donuts.

Wildcats made something like 25 finals appearances in a row and then Hutchy came in and they are a mess. Pretty funny really. Good reason to listen to the Sounding Board podcast.

Are they sure he hasn't eaten the team..
Hutchison the sporting organisation owner.. brought down the value of the club to Zero.
Couldn't have a worse person running a sporting club..

The Ch9 news Collingwood story never ends. Full coverage at the Derby today following a full week of mentions. I'm fixated and continue to watch this 'sports report' to see when (if ever) this huge bias ends. By my count there have been only six 'sports reports' since the GF that have failed to mention the mighty Colleywood.

Media mogul’s empire slips further towards the brink

"
Media mogul Craig Hutchison’s empire has taken another hit with reports claiming new investors are desperately needed to save the radio giant.
Hutchison in September shrugged off ongoing suggestions of doom and gloom surrounding the Sports Entertainment Group, the owner of the SEN radio network.

Hutchison and the group is reportedly at the mercy of the Commonwealth Bank, with the financial institution in a position to call for immediate settlement as a result of breached loan conditions.

The uncertainty surrounding the $28.7m line of credit comes after it emerged the company posted a $9.2m loss last financial year.

Sports Entertainment Group’s preliminary final report stated that the company has just over $1 million available from the loan, but had to ask for “covenant relief” from the bank in the June quarter.

The Age has now revealed the network’s future has slipped further into uncertainty with a director’s note in its annual report, released in late October, declaring its status to be “material uncertainty” with significant doubts about its ability to continue to operate.

The pressure is building on the executive to find answers with the majority of its debt due in August, 2024.

Because of that deadline, SEG is seeking new investors, diluting Hutchison’s position as the company’s second-largest shareholder.
