The Aarts one was a nailed on HTB and should have been given but it didn't hurt them.

The Grimes one by the letter of the law was not a free kick as he attempted to dispose of it without any prior. Mentioned this in the game day thread too, an example of the media not even knowing the rules. He didn't drop the ball, he dropped it towards his kick but the tackle forced him to miss the ball with the kick. Now maybe we all think that that type of thing should be HTB but by the letter of the law it was not.

I can see why Aarts wasn't pinged. The umpire was behind him his left arm moved in a motion to try and handball and the ball spilled forwards. Umpire wouldn't have known whether he he did or didn't make contact and would have guessed I personally would rather them not guess, would only make them more inconsistent. Grimes lifted his arms above the tackle and didn't legally dispose of the ball. I am not sure where the umpire was at the time I can only assume that the umpire thought it hit his foot and/or was blindside or had his view blocked.

Disagree on the Grimes one, he does lift the ball over his head but at no time can he handball it. He drops it to kick it but misses it. No prior and attempted to dispose.

I've seen numerous times where the ball was play on when lifting it over the head.

I see Cornes has been pushing for this. Would he have done the same for the 2 that weren't paid to us and ending up in 2 Essendon goals. Doubt it.

stopped watching all these putrid AFL shows, like 360, Classified, Sunday footy show. Best decision I’ve ever made. If I ever want another persons opinion about how we’re going i just read the comments by other fellow PRE’s on this forum.

That’s Blobbo for you. When we do it we’re whinging, but when they do it, they’re attempting to improve the quality of umpiring. One of the reasons so many are happy that Essington haven’t won a final for 6,000+ days.

Yep no point wasting energy complaining about it - just dont bother watching any of the footy shows, you'll save plenty of time and energy (and its not like you are missing out on anything!).
 
it's pure media driven speculation linking Mitchell to us. Mitchell wants out ... the rest is made up.
