You need elite key backs and elite mid backs to do what we do. Essendon don’t.

You need at least one smart, elite key forward who stays on the park to do what we do. Essendon don’t.

You need three hard working, fanatical small forwards who will sacrifice their own games for the team to do what we do. Essendon don’t.

Finally, you need a culture of absolute buy-in, trust, respect and competition through the list. Essendon don’t.

Other than tribunal hearings, what usually happens between Monday and Wednesday to justify another FC? Its not like they can announce the team line ups before anyone else.
