Even Geelong was competitive at subiaco!

Diggler sometimes I agree with your outspoken comments and while I know its all about personal opinions, and no one is right or wrong.... Geez you speak alot of *smile* sometimes! I commend you for your financial support of the Tigers but, lets put things into perspective here.. Look at the players we had out and the positions these players fill, then look at the weevils players out list. Well what do you know they are almost full strength.
Sure we got hammered tonight but in the past you and I and most other people haven't believed we have any real depth anyway... so what the hell do you expect to happen over there??

Fair comments Tigerdog. Im still scratching my head on how red hot competitive we were for the first quarter and then have 11 unanswered goals kicked.
I honestly thought the game would of been alot closer than the final result, despite who we had out.

See I agree with you again Diggler I don't know how we conceded that many goals unanswered either. Very ordinary and, like I think you mentioned elsewhere good sides don't do that. Again though I say we were decimated by injuries so the result is not surprising. However like you say having been so accountable early it was sad to see us get cut up after that.
Maybe this is a blessing in disguise in that now we will not be taken seriously by any of the so called experts and can continue to fly under the radar.
Personally I am not too bothered by this loss, sure anyone would prefer it was less than 5 goals or so but in the next few weeks we should get a few players that are vital to our structure back and we will again go back to playing good footy. Very few sides win every game!!
The second half of the year is looking positive from where I sit ;)
GO TIGES!

You know, it just gets sweeter every week for us over here in the West. I thought nothing would top watching those Pies fans packing for home last week, but coming in here and watching all your B.S. backfire in your face tops that. Your rabble were pathetic out there tonight. Very good point for this string. At least Geelong were competitive over here. We only beat them by 16 over here. I guess the family relation shows between you Tigers and Geelong. You're nothing but Pussy Cats yourselves!! A sad state of affairs for you Vics at the moment...especially if, as is much reported on this site, Richmond is the best Victorian side at the moment. Keep making your excuses about Stafford and our young Sandgroper Coughlan if it makes you feel better about yourselves. Pathetic effort. You can't be happy about it. Feel sorry for ya. And it just begins here, you're going down again next week to the Swans. Looking forward to it. CARN THE EAGLES!!! :) :) :) :) :) ;D ;D ;D ;D

Yeah Pheret, it was a pretty insipid display by the Tiges, and yeah a few guys from here led with their chins by having fun stirring you guys on your website.
But......
A couple of you might just have been in a bit of doubt over the result hey? ::)
It's all well and good to shitstir AFTER you know the result.
At least Sammy had her say over here BEFORE the game as well.
Not that she had much to say though and her spelling is atrocious. Not just the odd typo that we're all capable of either.
"Victorians staying in their boarders?" The mind boggles. :rollin
Funny how trolls and poor spelling often go together. ;)

Our soft underbelly really got exposed last night.

We will never be a serious contender when the selection commitee keep putting their faith in Biddiscombe, King etc. Unfortunately thats all we have. The draftees who were meant to replace these guys have generally struggled with a few exceptions.

Our season is by no means over but there is nothing like a loss to really expose your weaknesses.

For any West Coast Eagles supporters attempting to read this reply, I have modified the spelling for their benefit.

Befaw I crewsify any of the Tyger playahs on last knight's perfawmense, I wood like to sea how we bounse bak from this defeet agaynst Sidiney nekst weak. Shaw, it was a realitee chek but I'm serten our guyz wil put in a much betta perfawmense and turn fings around.

To all those wet toast eagles fans, here is a quote from William Shakespeare to sum you all up

'Tis pity thy mouth's be mantled with teeth to spoil the perfect ass ho1e' ;D

Let me just say this - there were OK signs last night in the first half. However last nights severe fade out showed exactly what I and others have been harping on about - we have too many passangers. These passangers were severly exposed without the leadership of Coughlan, Stafford and Campbell. There was minimal FIGHT after we went a few goals down. It showed how vital Coughlan is to our side in order to set the example. I thought Fleming was setting the example early but went off injured and then things fell apart.

Great stuff Tiga even my gf liked that one ;D
Tiga
I thought Fleming was setting the example early but went off injured and then things fell apart.
Actually I noticed this also, he kicked 2 and was finding space.. is that because they paid him no respect? Or was he just running well off his player? Either way it was good to see him getting a bit of the ball and kicking a couple. He may yet prove to be a good weapon to have if we can ever get close to our best 22 again. ;) 8)

GO TIGES!!
