Even though in isolation I think that this incident was on the mild scale, Eddie has a history of this sort of boorish behaviour so no sympathy from me.

IMO he's in a lot of trouble, and deservedly so. He is entitled to defend his case (although it appears he was not very convincing this morning on radio), but these public comments as reported are disgraceful.
Shame to see Danny Frawley involved, who I have always respected as a decent individual. At least his apology was sincere. He is rightly embarrassed.
Amazing the abuse that is directed towards Caro from the boys club. It is never nice being in the firing line (e.g. when she sets her sights on Richmond), but she is a shining light in a woefully inbred industry.

Bloody funny to see that the other Jimbob has managed to be front n centre all this weekend. Covered themselves in glory this week has Norf. Team has tried to rough up the Hawks n lost, Coach has tried to rough up the poor mouldy green maggots n lost. Jimbob's joined the pack n gone the stomp on Caro n lost.
Rarely see a mob pull so many bone headed howlers in such a short time.

what staggers me the most about this is the feedback from callers and posts on social media saying that this has been overblown by the PC brigade. absolutely disgusting attitudes. it just proves that the misogynist 'boys will be boys' mentality is still well and truly alive in footy culture.
Not the world's greatest crime, but the AFL has whacked people hard over much less. If you're going to have social policies in place, they need to be enforced consistently otherwise they're worse than useless. Over to you, AFL.
