Yep the Dimma love in finished when he left the misses you will find . Still friends but
No Cotchin didn’t have the issue it’s his wife who did (who always puts her nose in club business when she should just be a wag). If Cotchin appeared to have the issue it would have been to keep the wife happy so probably appeared to have an issue I mean can you imagine the backlash had he not do what the wife wanted?

Martin didn’t have an issue with Dimma and Mrs Hardwick otherwise he’s have an issue with his old man doing the same thing to his step mum

They ain’t that close

Exactly, it's like when you work with someone and get on really well at work, but you don't actually socialise or spend any time together outside of work.

If they change jobs you miss them but would you uproot your life and move to the Gold Coast just to be with them? No way known.

If he wanted to nove North, i wouldnt stop him.
He has done all he could possibly do with us.
I would want Flanders & Holland's in return

I've always had my suspicions of this.

The club hasnot been the same in 2021 or since.

Whether there is any stock or truth to it I dont know, but I've always suspected it, just from watching.

I can't help thinking he'd be reassessing the GC as an option. Everyone's gone, new start at a new club with the old coach. Would they offer him a 3 year contract to make it worthwhile?

I'd be gobsmacked if Martin didn't finish his career at RFC.
He seems invested this season, particularly since Hardwick's departure.
He can only, surely, run out on the ground for his 300th next season in the Yellow and Black.
Any other jumper just doesn't make sense!

I don’t want to watch another year where he loses love for it all. Let him go with Dimma
His name is much more valuable than his worth as a player at this stage of his career.
Just give us back a decent draft pick and we’re sweet.
Win win.

Herald Sun reported last week that Dusty wanted to start talks on a new contract beyond 2024.

These retirements would not have come as a surprise to him.

He's seen two of his best mates end as one club legends, something that I think appeals to a guy as loyal as Dustin. Not to mention how private he is. It is for those reasons I would be shocked if he chose to leave and go and integrate into a new environment with new people.

Yes but will he play for sub300 like Jack and Cotch did?

I can't see it happening either.

It definitely wouldn't be for any other reason than South East Queensland is the best place to live in Australia and to get out of Melbourne, all the talk about following Hardwick or wanting a fresh start etc is just nonsense.
