I'm loving this, poor old Sammy Edmund is gobsmacked.
Edmund, why do you think Dusty had no time for the media........it was because of the way the media treated him, you *smile*.
If it does happen, Dusty will show you clowns how it should be done.

I assume the media are finally done as of 3pm today with the slim chances of Dusty playing for GC?
I do see that players can choose to not nominate for the national draft and still be signed as SSP selections, so I’m hoping that’s not the next thing.

I suppose we'll get a fair number of mea culpas from a fair few journos now. Some of them went very hard, you could even say some went all-in. Considering the very high standards of journalistic integrity and accountability, it wouldn't surprise me if a few handed in their resignations.

They are crapping their pants they might get a stare, or worse, get nothing, and his no-frill communication style will make them look like even bigger gooses.
That’s what confused me too, but looking into it, believe it’s due to the fact Martin is retired whereas Narkle & Prior were delisted.
Given being an unrestricted free agent like Martin allows you to move to any club you choose for any reason, it is interesting that retiring doesn’t give you the same movement freedoms afforded to a delisted player.
I assume it’s so a club can’t be screwed out of compo, but still.
