Ah....you see that's the trouble - though i know it can't be easy with the time differences. We will take you on your word that WCE's Graham is on you bench and not listed as an emergency - at least if that is how it is played it won't have any score / result impacts. Thanks for your candor.

Presumably you can't instigate the trade above becuase you have used your two trades already this week - so this trade is not approved as someone else may still see fit to use Pettigrew...sorry. But do try again next round.

I made a mistake and used the trades. I think that it is unfair that I can not have Pettigrew now. If I do not have him then Graham is stuck in my team (which can not be a good solution either).

I have nominated the trade. Everything is as it would be with Pettigrew in my team (on the bench not scoring).

Everyone else has had the opportunity to name him.

I am not allowed to have Graham in my side, yet I am not able to nominate the trade to remove him - catch 22??

I am only trying to fix an honest mistake.

Could be a nice pick up Tannerz - would've grabbed him myself expect my two Mid reserves of Jack (Syd) and Hinkley (Freo) just might be better holds.

I agree he will be a good pick up, I would have picked him up but I have Cale MORTON and Justin SHERMAN on my bench as Mids.

Guess it becomes a moot point now cos no one else asked for him. Given the trade rules at the start of the thread, that were also PM'ed to each individual, and appeared in another thread, I don't think I was unfair. It stated that any trade needed approval, and was required before enacting the changes on Supercoach. You went ahead despite this (which I can kinda understand when you have sufficient self confidence in the decision you have just made - BUT, it was an ill-informed decision) it's as simple as that and the rules warned about that. IT is only so that we can avoid errors that could throw the whole comp out of the window. None of us want that.

All I can say is let this be a warning to each of us. Ensure you have the OK of the second checker. It proves in this case that thje second checker is very valuable - without it - and your honesty - we could have compromised the comp without any real chance of recovery. That is a big credit to you Max for your acceptance of an error - and U2 and I for the foresight to have a check point.

On Hinkley - he was named as an emergency, and I have high hopes for the boy

Well now you have confused the crappers out of me:

Based on the above, you seem to be saying that the two trades you requested were made on SC regardless of approval. That being the case, you have no further trades available anyway as you only get two per round. What is it that I don't understand in your circumstances then?

In the end it cost me victory in the PRE cup as I was short another defender, not to mention the two trades. Unfortunately the time difference makes it very difficult.

I guess that it was lucky it did not impact the competition and hopefully everyone else can learn from my stupidity

Can someone approve my new trade so I can fix this mess?
