Credit to Brendan Gale for encouraging Dimma to change his plans post-season 2016. He was going to visit a top US sports team to see why they were successful but Brendan didn't think this would help him. He had seen Dimma working very hard, analysing all the game day stats, looking for answers that ultimately weren't in the figures. He told Dimma a short leadership course at Harvard would be greater value for him. Fortunately Dimma followed Gale's advice. So lucky to have smart people like Gale and Balme at our club...along with all the assistant coaches...where do you stop?

Maybe it was cheaper to do the Harvard thing after Bernie's 2016 which indicated he was not going to employed at Punt Road after 2017 unless a miracle occurred.

Surely worthy of a title after the miracle he performed.
Winning a premiership at Richmond. Many people believed it couldn't be done.

So, 'Tigaman', price was the key factor. And courses at Harvard are cheaper than some visits to Sporting teams (probably near free).

Leon what about of JC & Lazarus. Bernie was done & dusted, dead in the water, abandoned except for a dogmatic few after 2016 but then Bernie done a JC & Lazarus for which we are all eternally grateful. Amen.

No, Tigaman, a painfully dogmatic handful like you thought this, but were clearly delusional. The majority of Tiger fans# remained true and loyal and were proven absolutely prescient with the amazing premiership in 2017. The fact we were not expected to even make the 8 coming from 13th, was amazing, but just shows how astute the true believers actually were.

No, TM, you and your ilk were deluded then and apparently still are. Amen to that.

Good onya Dimma you deserve it after so many other coaches failed. Those heartbreaking losses....most times people are habited to continue failing, but Dimma & co stuck fat and we got better.

Loved his shake of the head to Velvet.
