Damien Hardwick

Geez. Pretty down on Cumberland.

Somethings not right there. Personality conflict ?
Legitimate criticism to maybe? I'm a big Cumbo fan, but his body language is strange at times to the extent he seems to lose concentration.

We are long way off I love what he has done for all of us but I think he will go at the end of the year if we dont play finals I think he will stand down.

You're overreacting. He praised him in the presser (you all must have blocked your ears at that part) and balanced it with constructive criticism.
Ha ha. He only praised him when forced to with more questions. There’s something more.

If he’s gonna go, I’d rather have him there for long enough that we can select a good replacement.

2 weeks in a row Dimmas panicked and changed the team structurally in the last quarter and it’s cost us. Poor form atm.

nobody actually said anything.

Is that Tony Shaw? Incoherent, pretty funny actually, it was like he was arguing with himself.

Interesting comment y Caro re Benny being shafted by the AFL, "I don't know why the AFL are so scared of change".

Yep. Just Caro's opinion.

So Dimma makes a decent move shifting Balta in the ruck. Gave us a boost there.

And subs out a slow tall to get more run into the game. During the 3rd it was clear that Grundy / Gawn started dominating. If we kept going we were going down. Bold move.
If we kicked the set shots we should have and if Dyer'ere's favourite pinup #4 (cant say his name without salivating) could kick between the 2 big sticks we are in the game.

Didnt play Sonsie? Clearly resting the kid.
Didnt fawn fanbois over Cumberland in the media of all places? Clearly still training the kid.

In the pregame fox interview he spoke of managing team confidence.
Its a balance.
But boy we were committed this week

That's a lie Caro, you know precisely why the AFL are scared of change, they love the cosy little Private School Boys' Club and don't want to give it up.

Wasn’t a good night in the coaches box I am afraid . Don’t blame the players
Blame selection and the sub situation in the last quarter
Farcical at best !!

Recon there is enough 'blame' to go around.

Hardwick is fine

Just needs a fresh list to work with

Eeerrrmm... Isn't it also the coaches job to get the best out of the list at hand?

Unfortunately, with all the injuries we have had in 2023, Hardwick's job has been harder than in the majority of seasons past.

Had a superb night. Did what he could. Rolled the dice all night and would not sandbag.

Exposed some stocks to high temperatures and they did not come up.

I thought we had eight payers of the 22 who needed to level up just to be AFL D-. And other stocks, Martin, Prestia, Cotchin who could go either way from here.

Hardwick was up and about. We get a month the reach a verdict.

Taranto was the most interesting and most likely to improve with coaching IMO.

yep, coaching panel had a plan and the team executed great for a half... Dees readjusted and pulled away... coaching or players? hard to say.

Still, went better than i expected.

Will find that at Port Adelaide in 2024
Do you really think he's gonna virtually walk out on us this quick? He's settled with us for over a decade and does look a bit burnt out to me, so why start all over at another club and especially interstate? Port looks to be on the up now.
