Sadly .. very good move by Scumwood .. Yeah Essendon have done well with our assistants and are on the improve too .. losing Balme

Exactly. Adam Kingsley came to us from St Kilda & is now a Premiership assistant coach. Keep moving forward.

Nothing here that didn’t happen to Hawthorn, Collingwood and Geelong before us.
What will be interesting is watching how all these ex-Tiger assistants go at their new jobs. Based on what’s happened to ex-cat, ex-pie and ex-hawk assistants, we’ll quickly see which ones were making a meaningful contributions and which ones just rode on the shoulders of giants.

Yeah - the pies were old and stale, they had to do something and given Macrae is no longer at the tigers, it’s not our problem really.
The jury is still out on Rutten and Caracalla at Essendon - they still haven’t won a final and I don’t think they were that flash on the weekend.
We need to keep bringing in new and different ideas, there’s plenty a good coaches come through I am sure.
