Changes vs Hawks

No tickets?
No way is this game sold out!!View attachment 23067
One would hope that Ticketty ticketty has more seating they haven't released yet. But the problem with games being a " sellout " is that there's only about 50,000 tickets available for the members of the playing clubs. MCC n AFL members have an allocation of half the grounds capacity that the regulation plebs simply don't get access to. Then you've got to allow for all the club reserved seat members allocation that swallows up more of those 50,000 seats and perhaps there's only around 40,000 seats available all up for the general admission ticket holders n random attendees. Club memberships are so huge these days it wouldn't be hard for that seating to run out in a hurry for special event type games.
Tigers fans want to be there for our champions 300th game n Hawforn fans reckon their boys are on a roll and still half a sniff to get back to finals so they want to turn up n *smile* on our party.

I downloaded my ticket being a country member on the app. A naive question as I'm usually in Viet for alot of the time. Is that enough to get me into the g? It's saying sold out but will members who have a general admission be able to just walk up and get in?

Just received the following email from the club about 30 mins ago. Talk about the horse has bolted:

Due to extremely high, and unprecedented, ticketing demand, Round 14 vs. Hawthorn is now a fully ticketed match for General Admission members.

We are thrilled by the support of the Tiger Army and your eagerness to celebrate Dustin Martin's 300th match. This decision has been made to ensure that as many Richmond members as possible can attend and have an enjoyable match day while congratulating our champion #4 on his milestone match.

This means, that as a general admission member, you must upgrade to a reserved seat or redeem standing room access, as there is no scan in access for general admission seating or standing room. Your physical or digital membership card will not give you access to this game.

The club are sending emails out now saying you can’t scan in with your membership card as it’s fully ticketed.

You need to go to Ticketek and type your barcode in.

“To secure your seat, please click the button below which will lead you to the Ticketek website and enter your barcode (barcode below). If you wish to sit with other general admission members, please enter their barcode on a new line on the Ticketek website. Please select "Richmond Supporter Allocation" when prompted. Please note, tickets are subject to capacity and it is recommended you secure your ticket as soon possible.”

I feel for the people who want to get to the game but can't. Fortunately being an overseas club member, my reserved seating is ready for me - my couch in front of my TV! As it is an early (in UK) ball up, I get a complementary breakfast to go with my seating assuming my partner is in a good mood.

There is a bottle store the next town over that sells international beer so I might head over to get a pack of VB or a slab as the case may be!
Better make it a slab. That way you've got enough to party n celebrate with if we " do it for Dusty " or drown the sorrows over just another *smile* miserable day in a *smile* miserable year.

Banks need to become more phsyical. Needs another season in the gym. Needs to be more competitive like Ralph- Smith.
Raaaallph in his fifth season n got 40 games under the belt n starting to become a player.
Banksy in his third year n got 12 games under the belt, got some work to do and also some time to do it in.

Unless the young blokes are stars from day one they all need that first few years of perform at magoos, get elevated n get beat up at seniors then practice n learn some more at magoos before elevating again to seniors n get beat up a bit less.

From my perspective I much prefer all the young blokes coming through to get a bracket of two or three games n building gradually to more games each time, rather than them just getting a one game cover injury promotion n then getting dropped back to magoos, or even worse the last ten minutes sub game. They never get time to adjust properly to the extra pressure, speed n intensity of senior footy if they're constantly just used as a quick fix patch player.
