After watching our game and the first quarter of their game, I didn't fancy our chances. Then I watched the rest of their game. And I watched ours again.
They are slooow. Lots of bigs. Kick-mark. We can afford to play Nank and Soldo and Caddy, and we should. If we can go anywhere close to breaking even in the middle, or at least dirtying their clearances, and improve our forward efficiency, we're a good show.

It is not only McGovern we have to be concerned with. Darling and Kennedy are pretty good as well, not to mention Gaff and Shuey, Nick Nat just for starters.
Make no mistake they are a team of seriously good players. that is why they are winning most games.
He'd come off second best. Whoever gets McGovern needs to lead up and be used. Gotta bypass him.

McGovern the slowest of all, when reversing you hear beeping. He turns like a tank. The only reason he gets a game is he's a fantastic mark. Get the ball on the ground and he's a witches hat.
They also like to chip it around & play that keeping off possession game. That won't work if there is any dew around. Having said that we haven't been as good in slippery conditions this year as we have been in the past.
Ground ball entries into our forward 50. Thats the key.

I reckon their game plan will suit us. They don't flood like most other teams expecting to lose against us. They will back themselves. This will suit us big time.
