We're conceding alot of weight and height there. Has to be quick ball movement and lots of run.

This will be the win that makes us all believe, ha ha, and maybe the win that restores some confidence to Castagna and Aarts, who must both consider themselves a bit lucky.
In Dusty's absence expecting Nank, Baker, Bolton, Shorty, Jack and Stacky to win it for us..

Since we imploded against West Coast 5 games ago Castagna has kicked 2 goals and Aarts 1

Castagna has kicked just 6 goals in last 12 games with 3 of those coming against Essendon.

Surely one or two of the kids can do better??

Aarts has 1 goal in 7 games

Dunno, big bodies can be useful in wet conditions.

DS
I thought the same for the GF as well, wet all day, wet start to the game (slippery) and as the game went on, the ground and handling looked better and that suited us. Cats looked better in the wet

Crikey they are monsters

Effective spread is the key.

Rioli, Stack, Edwards, Lambert, Stack, Bolton, Graham.

Run, run, run.

It's a huge weight difference in particular (even if the measurements were taken in pre-season). In the 2016 Geelong game we were -6.7kg and ran rings around them for three quarters before collapsing.

Great game to see how our new small defenders are travelling I.e DRioli, Stack and Mansell , no matter what I hope we stick with them until seasons end , they all ad a bit of dare and flare out of half back, we may not be able to replace Houli with one p,Ayer , however there’s 3 may fill his void . Hopefully they will also ad to Shorts game , hoping they will allow less easy ball for Shorty , but better usage from Shorty. Less is more theory and not Shorty running past for every ball and been very predictable
