Changes V Lions

It's not their home crowd. It's our home crowd. Our home game. With the restrictions, I expect the crowd to be 50/50 at worst

They wont turn up on tuezdey night.
They're aren't real supporters anyway.
You know a real crowd when they call for a decision to be made as it happens, not 2 minutes later.
I've been to Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney.
Only SA crowds know and how to read the game.

Depending on the ins, Cameron might "get out" of Grimes clutches by going up the ground. Phew he says. That guy thats taller and close to as quick, glad I'm off him. Who's manning me now. Some guy with lots of tatts and blond hair. Nathan something. He must be easier to beat right??. Maybe I'd better ask Hipwood how he dealt with him.

This will be a tough one but I'm still strangely confident. Our defence matches up excellently - their talls are not so great. Grimes/Broady will handle Cameron, good player though he is. Our forwards are running into a bit of form, and Dusty likes playing the Lions. Their ruck division is onto its third stringer. Only concern for me is their midfield, but with Cotch/Dusty/$hai etc I reckon we can hold our own.

Almost wish it was at the GABBA as our record is so good there.

Also tipping Neale to get 35+ touches and Richmond to win by 5+ goals

With the new restrictions, is there a possibility thay even if Shedda wanted to eventually join the hub.....would they even let him in?
Different to say being a Collingwood player, where Eddie wouldn't even need to ask.

Yes, they will as the QLD gov have an agreement with the AFL. Its his work and will provide COVID test before leaving then quarantine like Houli is doing now.
AFL players have strict rules to adhere too hence why QLD gov allowing the comp to pretty much being based there.

Stack was our worst by far but survises. Didn't chase, always lagged behind. 1 contested possession and a paltry 89 meters gained but survises the cut.
Compare to Marcov, 240+ meters gained, and 6 contested. Did his job but is omitted.

Feel for Markov. Didn’t do much wrong last week.

Agree! didn't do anything wrong,. I watched the game again just to see if I was a bit too critical of stack, he was as worse as i thought especially the chasing aspect and lack of pressure. He did lay a few good tackles but other than that it was a sub-standard performance.
That said i hope he has a blinder and repays the faith to the match committee.

Didn't chase, but somehow managed to lay the most tackles of any player. Imagine how many tackles he'd get if he chases!

Lol i don't know if you're being facetious there wasn't one run-down tackle, don't confuse the 2. He was always 2nd to the contest and his tackles were in close (in a pack situation) when it's all stacks on the mill.

The week before rioli had 6 and graham 9 but still were dropped.

The stats lie. He didn't chase, was caught often (lossed his sideways movement) and double grabbed everything.

Very lucky.

Agree with the last two points, but he did chase.

As he starts to regain his touch - he should be able to take the ball cleanly with one grab and quickly get clear of the congestion
Then we’ll find his disposals increase and tackles decrease compared to last week
And that’ll be OK
