Hope the club appeals Picketts decision. If unsuccessful Edwards the obvious replacement or Mansell is also available and the match committee obviously likes the way he plays. His mongrel might be useful on Saturday night - 2 choices for this spot.

Millar played really well yesterday in the VFL and he would be a good match up for 2 mtr Pete as a lock down role and could take Balta‘s spot for 1 game and then Gibs is also in contention if he has recovered - or bring him back for the Sydney game. again 2 choices for this position.

We have found our mojo so can’t see too many unforced changes.

Reckon the game will be a grind - the bummers will come out firing - the first qtr and a half it will be on, but if we maintain our pressure we should wear them down as we have too much class playing well at the moment - 25 pt win is my prediction.

I hate any comparison with Carlton. .... but.... we need to do what they did v GWS.
Put everything aside that's going on at the other club, and do our job.
One of our strengths throughout our successful period was the mental side of our game... Let's bring it!

It'll be a week of how the druggies don't fight, don't stick up for themselves, don't try hard enough.

Should be an interesting 5mins until they get shoved back into their shell.

They will bring Tippa back for Dreamtime who had 4 possessions, 1 goal and 4 tackles in their VFL's 90 point loss to Box Hill 2 weeks ago, (Essendon are bottom of the VFL ladder by the way :) ), club going well.
But they could have their Dusty return this week.

In Tarrnt HRS Gibcus
Out Balta Biggie pickett

Looks like its going to be a cold dewy night saturday , any merit in going with one less tall down back?
Its not like we don't need more run in the side as it is..

Just stumbled on an Essendon tweet on Twitter , 200 odd comments not one mentioning Dudoro to blame :ROFLMAO: but yet so many wanting the messiah Jimmy back:rotfl1
Yeah they are a deluded bunch. Not quite as bad as Carlton fans who up until Voss still felt the 1980’s rules applied to success.
The Bombers fans feel they are entitled to it just for being them. Thus the continual want for messiahs especially Hird and the covering of Dodoro.
