Changes for the Dogs at Marvel

So who then pickett? not gragam we know he cant get it done been there and failed or taranto head to head doesn't work
Thought has to be on Bont and English.

But I now worry about our backs a little.

They have JUH and The Astronaut ( who Balta hopefully match up better, but Jamara?

Need thought also on Dale , Daniel, JJ.

They may be short in the backline but it’s not as if we got anything for them to worry about.

Their mids are still going to be a handful. They have genuine pace!

Stop Bont with a Debutante

Is great poetry.

But i reckon it'd also be a great way to lose a game of footy
Didn't KMac debut on the bald headed chicken wing a few years back??? It doesn't happen often but great poetry is always great poetry.

Would you rather they go a season too short and get 2-3 seasons less with our champs?

Picking the end is like picking the high or low of the stockmarket,

And where tiger champions are concerned,

Id prefer they err on the side that gives us more.

I know what your saying, and id agree on geelongs champions, or sydneys champions,

But not Richmonds.
For me going out whilst still at the pinnacle is best to be membered for than still keep playing at a slightly lower standard and depriving someone else of a chance. I do recognise that we are limited in options though.

Not a question of going out at the pinnacle. We are way past that.

It is a question of comparing the present form of a past champion player playing on when consistently showing he is well past his best, with what you believe you can expect from giving that space to a newcomer.

Very difficult and involves a fair bit of guessing, but going for the newcomer does offer the promise of revitalising a failing system and the opportunity to offer encouragement to younger players to learn and improve.

Chimper rested off 5 day break. No surprise.

Jack badly needs one as well, but needs to front up again unfortunately.

If we bring in Cumbo and Bauer we can afford to rest Jack if we play Nank and Soldo each of who can rest forward

Nank and Soldo are both no good up forward.

Cumbo comes in for sure you'd think. Bauer tough after missing 4 weeks. Need a run in the two's first you'd reckon.

As expected, most of us had Cotchin in our outs, to be managed due to 5 day break.

But personally I would not play both Nank and Soldo in the same team. We need the 2nd ruck to play up forward.

If I was coaching I would be dropping Soldo for Ryan.

can't drop Soldo. He has been very good since coming back. if we make the finals, we need both of them to jell together.
