Callum Coleman-Judas - extricate yourself to Nth Ballarat, you git

I paid attention to his body language tonight and I reckon he looked invested - like he is staying

Think he’s a ruck first and forward second, that’s one issue. Agree Ottens showed more in his first season but still believe CCJ will be a great player in a good team. We looked better at centre bounces with him there than Nank who’s undersized against the monster rucks.

Geez Harry Ottens showed more in half a season than this bloke has in 4 seasons. He may turn out okay but he won't be an Ottens. I'm still not sure about him.
Apart from a Geelong prelim I reckon Ottens played his best footy with us. And I will always fondly remember him ringing that Geelong bell before the 2017 final with a perplexed look on his face as the tiger army drowned it out.

Problem is with Soldo back, and Nank - makes it hard to get them all in. CCJ and Chol have completely different skillsets. Jack is a big concern, he has one year left at best. If I had to choose between CCJ and Chol, I'll take the guy that competes more. Chol has skill, but I don't see the same competitive will that CCJ has. This will be quite an off-season. We have players that were perfect for the old rules, but can't play to their strengths in the new "stand" and "no holidng the ball" regime. Castagna, Aarts to name a couple.

I would give him an offer and if he didnt like it, i would shop him around.
I would see what other clubs offer.
Adelaide's 2nd rounder
GWS has Collingwoods first pick.
Maybe Stkilda's 2nd rounder + Cj for pick 3??

One of my favourite memories. I wasn’t far away from him and he couldn’t understand the booing. Completely bemused. Until he looked out onto the ground and saw the cats players running out to a crescendo of boos. It was magic.

Don’t forget Ottens was pick 2 while CJ was around 20. Back in thoseyears most draft picks got early games. CJ came into an established side with competition for places. For mine he is a keeper for at least two moreyears

A promising tap ruckman who is good around the ground and has kicked 11 goals from 8 games.

A must keep.

Thought he was the positive of the night , didn’t star, however showed enough. Case is closed on the CJ v Chol bout .

"Case is closed on the CJ v Chol bout "

For mine, the case should've been closed in May when CJ came into the side and kicked 4 goals against the Crows.

Should have been closed last year in hindsight with Chols performances last year.

To be honest, we don't know how well Soldo will come back, or if he'll be as good as he was. In any case it normally takes about 12 months for players to fully recover from a PCL.
I wouldn't be letting CCJ go under any circumstance. He's still very young in big man terms.

Haaarrrggh. Body language? This is the bloke they call zombie, what body language?

Happy enough if he stays, he's competent at ruck n key forward for a young fella n should still get better with more game.
