Bye Bye Jack Higgins!

Higgins ran the game out very well and had real impact in the last qtr.

Looking fwd to seeing him play more midfield minutes next week.

i’m not sold yet on him.
still reckon we need a big bodied mid ...
Watching the replay now and just noticed he has massive thighs/legs for his size and age. He’s small but reckon with those trunks he’ll develop that freakish strength dwarves are known for.

Definitely keep playing him. More midfield time thanks.

Yeah, that's the role for him. He knows where to go to get it. Just finds it.

We do, we definitely do. Should be our first priority at this years draft. But adding an accumulator who fits into our style perfectly and looks every bit a player in year one is a huge get.

Higgins is a gem, stoked to get him and I know he'll give 100%. Fantastic attitude and he's the type who will live and breathe football. Dimma will embrace him and I suspect the rest of the squad will too.

Nailed it again bullus

Has a great attitude. Always a big smile on his face. Lives and breathes footy. As Dimma has said this is the worst he'll be, so much upside. Great to see tigers are now just recruiting the best available players in the draft and not bothering getting caught up in drafting the tallest, fastest or most skillful etc

Especially with Conca pretty much gone for season I’d say Higgins is as good as locked in the midfield rotation, kudos to Dimma for backing him in over past month where many thought he was the obvious omission, was huge in that pressure built last quarter.

His midfield work has been building with very respectable numbers for a <10gamer , has clean hands, tough and learning fast what he can get away with , 2 of those goal assist with quick hands through heavy traffic where absolute gold

Kid can certainly play. As with Sausage in his first year it's purely about getting as much premium senior match development into him as possible. Too good for muddling away in the magoos, get the elite pressure work into him without worrying to much about how much impact or involvement he has at times. His best stuff will come with maturity, just let him work out what he can do for himself at the moment.

Gotta be close to a Rising Star nomination.

Yeah you would think so.

I think he is playing better now and having more impact on games in the middle than when he kicked those goals as a small forward - but he is less visible now

Let's not forget leadership qualities. If he can rev up seniors like that, then we got something good.
