Bulldogs v Tigers - Gameday Thread

Ah - we are smiled
Don't really care if we lose. We're just cloggers in the 8 with this depleted team. Gotta move on with new coach and just wanna see the kids develop. The 5 day break might be costly for us.....thanks once again to the brilliant AFL!!!

Yeh me to. But I have the denial going on.

Coulthard Bauer and Banks hopefully all have good games.

After last week Grimes might've been covertly dropped as the skipper.

Well played thus far. Cotch managed and a late out of Grimes was possibly timed to avoid speculation, 2 was enough, a third would have been one too many to avoid the spotlight.

The club has been in damage control all year and has done well in pulling the wool over the fanbase's eyes despite not communicating proactively when required.

Pressure will be on to win because if there isn't one then the heat on the integrity of selection will most likely be questioned.

My dowsing rod is quivering which usually indicates a belting. Then again it might just mean I need to take a *smile*.

Way too early in the night to have your dowsing rod out. Back in your pants!

RICHMOND co-captain Dylan Grimes is a late withdrawal from tonight's pivotal clash against the Western Bulldogs due to a neck injury.

Already missing triple premiership stars Dustin Martin and Trent Cotchin (both managed), the loss of Grimes is another setback for a Tigers side who will move into the top eight and ahead of the Bulldogs with a win at Marvel Stadium.

Sam Banks comes into the side to replace Grimes, while Rhyan Mansell is the sub.

Need to win, not break even in the midfield, do that and we win, Tiges by 38.
Yep exactly, MUST contain Libba, Bont, Daniels and Macrae, they get plenty of ball forward for this mob and our guys must play a tighter role tonight for us to have a chance. Still think we are a chance though if the boy's get their fast moving chaos game in action, good to have Shorty and Nank back also, hopefully Cumber can get his stuff going and snag a few majors tonight as well

Go Tiges, Eat 'em Alive !

What are you insinuating in this comment?

Moment of truth tonight to see if we play finals. If game at The G quietly confident but game at the dump with no weather elements odds of Tigers winning blowing out the door. Would have preferred Miller back in to replace Grimes adding more tall timber down back to counter Lobb Ugle- Hagan & Naughton.

I don’t think we can contain the amount of possession they get - especially in a slowish game. Might need to go all out attack and try and outscore them with quick as movement on the outside as possible.
