Basketball

Aust playing Czech for a spot in the final 4. Up by 3 at half time but playing awful basketball. Could not play any worse, very confident of winning this.

USA knocked out by France, so a win in the champ is achieveable.

They get the whole thing over in 2 weeks. Contrast the cricket World Cup where they have a few days off between each game. If you can play a test five days running should be playing one dyers at least every second day and 20-20 every day, even two per day like they do in baseball sometimes. Cricketers whinge about being on the road for too long but they spend ha,PF the time in hotel rooms.
 
But enough about the yanks....Boomers have not put a foot wrong...Been a lite lucky at times but that's a reality in tournament play.
For countries Othman the the US this means a lot. Patty Mills is one huge talent. The Cathy Freeman of basketball in that he flys the flag for his country and his people.

We just can’t afford to miss open shots. Kay missed an uncontested 3 that would have put us 7 up. Now 2. He’s had s good game but we cannot afford to miss. Cmon aussies

Aussie offence has been horrendous in last 5 minutes. Couldn’t put it in a swimming pool.
 
Pissweak foul called by refs gives Spain 2 shots and the lead. Now a point down.

We have 8 seconds to win it.
 
Surely we must drive to basket - please do not settle for a poor 3 point shot
