How good was it when The Truth finally got a championship!

Amazing loyalty in the age of professional sports.
One of the awesome things about The Truth (and KG and Perk for that matter too), is that they all absolutely loooove the C’s and turn up at games regularly and go on the front foot in the media about them all the time too.

You’ll often see The Truth and KG together at the “Gaaawden”.

Simmons coming off the bench today despite the raft of personnel changes. What a mess.
Simmons is one of the best movers in the paint for a man his size you will ever see. Has started well since he came on. He has to attack the rim and trust his finishing if he aint going to shoot a jump shot. It creates so much for his team. i'm hoping he does well, the pressure on him is immense.

I'm with you.

The Nets will surely be rubbish now, and that is probably a good thing for Simmons.

Can't stand the All-Star nonsense - glad it's done and dusted for another year. Must be a welcome break for the player's not involved in it though.

Looking forward to the remainder of the season - some real important moves by play-off contenders - especially in the West. For mine a healthy Bucks team stands out as the best and hardest to defeat in any play-off series.

Interest at the other end of the standings too. Whoever ends up with Wembanyama will be a contender for more than a decade. Listened to a podcast yesterday featuring Jon Givony who stayed with him for a couple of weeks in France recently. Everything he said about him was positive - attitude, background, training and playing all suggested a true future champion.

Also who'd buy a personalised NBA jersey or memorabillia these days for that matter? Overrated/overvalued items given how often players are switching teams now.
Yeah so many players changing teams. Also jerseys being changed all the time it’s hard to keep up. For someone who barely watches the NBA anymore, when I do put it on I can’t even recognise what teams are playing, their jerseys are so different to what I’m used to. They look ordinary IMO.

Incredible finish in Celtics v 76ers game. Scores tied with 6 seconds to go. Celtics set up a great play for Tatum who jags a 3 with 1.3 on the clock. Philly inbounds to Embiid who lets fly with a full court Hail Mary. It goes in without touching the rim! But he got the shot off a half second too late! Unbelievable.

Celtics win! Bring on banner 18!

Amazing finish. :)

Did anyone see the Clippers vs Kings match?
Double overtime. Kings win by 1, and the second highest score in NBA history
As someone who likes the Kings, I was rapt with the results, but the score showed how the NBA is heading down a "don't you dare do anything to impede the scoring of the person with the ball" mentality. Really not a fan! :(
