Bachar Houli - بشار حولي,

How many times did Miers dive? Hope he gets the scrutiny Grimes and Rance received for their indiscretions.

what a second half... Bachar and Sheds were the ones that kick started it .. and kept that energy going ..

Let the word go forth, anyone who ever takes a cheap shot at this bloke again is unworthy of Richmond.

If the 2017 Grand Final didn't convince you, then he slapped you in the face with it tonight.

A true Richmond champion.

The so-called independent tribunal panel might have a look at Houli for his elbow on Miers. It was very low impact but if they are consistent then he will get a week for it being off the ball and high. Thats what did Tomahawk in. It wasn't in play.

If they do that they should look at Miers dive - that’s worth a fine and is as bad as grimes imo.

If Houli gets rubbed out for that its a joke. At the worst its a fine but for me, the impact was below anything reportable.

Always been a fan of Bash's gut running to link up on the overlap n slice holes through opposition structures, takes incredible effort n integrity to do so much often unrewarded running just to create possibilities during a game. Last three years Bash has added a harder touch of intensity n pressure at the contest to his game and simply elevated his game.

Fear the beard he's ferocious n he's all ours.

This man is a thing of beauty.
He was quiet last week and copped his usual share of unwarranted criticism from the usual suspects who lurk in the shadows and rejoice at every blemish or perceived hesitant effort.
Well Bashar has now officially written himself into RFC folklore. A player that has dominated in big game finals. 2017 was obviously the highlight but last night cemented his reputation as a finals performer. History doesn’t forget those players. It embellishes their reputations.
Cometh the hour, cometh the beard

Just watched the 1st quarter again. I don't understand those who reckon Houli had an average first half. Was brilliant. Run and carry was enormous. Hardly made a mistake.

I reckon theres a bundle to be made selling fake BacherBeards™ outside the G next Saturday.

2nd quarter 3 minutes left, Houli was involved 3 times culminating in a beautiful pass to Castagna for a goal. Just sublime.

Nothing in it. MRO will look at it and say 1 week. Hocking will review and say not sure, let me ask Gil. Gil will not want any bad press this week so he'll call Gerard and ask him what to do.

Scooter has already said nothing in it at all so Bacher will be fine.
