Have watched a few games at the Creek. All my boys played for Creek. They are struggling at the moment that's for sure. But they did give us Dusty.
Good on you, shadYeah, I have four sons so I have been at the footy every Saturday for 14 years and counting. Loved every minute of it.
Ah then take him pick 1 then.Spoke to a mate today who was there and said Rance is still AFL class. A real shame he missed these years of his career.
My mate reckoned he alone turned the result from a likely 200 point loss into a 100 point loss and after the game someone from Campbells Creek, who are apparently a rabble of a club, stole his boots!
The way that game turned out we could have played Alex on one leg and still won it by about 10 goals.I remember an extremely nuanced and astute poster here suggesting we play him in the finals in 2019, but he would have to be instructed to "run only in straight lines" to avoid reinjuring the ACL
Makes sense….I remember an extremely nuanced and astute poster here suggesting we play him in the finals in 2019, but he would have to be instructed to "run only in straight lines" to avoid reinjuring the ACL
I think you just don't understand football.I remember an extremely nuanced and astute poster here suggesting we play him in the finals in 2019, but he would have to be instructed to "run only in straight lines" to avoid reinjuring the ACL

Does that mean Pickett misses out?The way that game turned out we could have played Alex on one leg and still won it by about 10 goals.
Me too. It’s a hypothetical. If it was now and not then Broad would have had to miss under concussion protocols and Rance could have had his spot.Does that mean Pickett misses out?
Kind of like Pickett grand final story.
Particularly in the backline , did they go inside 50 after quarter time ?The way that game turned out we could have played Alex on one leg and still won it by about 10 goals.

Only problem is if Tross played like Jack he would be in jail for 5 years after the first broken collarbone he dished out.Aah, but Jack Dyer had passed by then, he would have been able to show Rance how to run in straight lines with a dodgy knee, he did it for most of his career. Quite simple really, don't avoid opponents, just run through them.

Would be ideal to have the Tross mentoring the Gibbus and Miller and Biggy.I'm hopeful he'll be back in a coaching position sooner rather than later.
Nah. I don’t think Alex is a good idea as a coach. Griggs, Lambo yes. Alex no. Couple of people on PRE have referenced why in the past …and they’re right. Just sayin.Would be ideal to have the Tross mentoring the Gibbus and Miller and Biggy.
JR8 would be a fantastic forwards coach as well with his IQ and Grigga back as an assistant also.
Lambo as a midfield coach and Sheds moving into recruitment and mentorship of the Aboriginal youngsters.
Towner back as tackling coach
Yeah he is a bit of a different cat probably a tad loose for a coach in the boxNah. I don’t think Alex is a good idea as a coach. Griggs, Lambo yes. Alex no. Couple of people on PRE have referenced why in the past …and they’re right. Just sayin.
BIG personality (to put it politely) is what I hear Craigslist which doesn’t always rub the right way with a lot of people. @The Big Richo and a few others may wish to confirm. Cracking player. Legend. Not sure about being a coach however.Yeah he is a bit of a different cat probably a tad loose for a coach in the box
