Alex Rance

Trekking in Nepal - led by recently single Alex Rance!!!!????

Sign up now - the Motel girls will be panting!!!!!!

Go for the off-cuts!!!!!!

Bwaaaaaa ha ha!!!!!

Maybe Rance could become our September specialist.

Return to training in July. Play the last 4 rounds of the season and join the finals campaign.

Drape a premiership medal around his neck, spend a few hours celebrating before being paraded down Swan street in a Pope Mobile type vehicle waving to an adoring crowd before heading to China to stop the corona virus in it's tracks, churning goat milk with Tibetan monks, going to the Amazon to convert a cannibal tribe to veganism, before returning again 9 months later to join our 2021 flag quest......... wash, repeat!

3 months of footy, 9 months to do what he wants.

We could renegotiate a contract of 2 to 3k year, giving us another half a mil to use elsewhere.

With less wear and tear on the body, he could go to 35, terrorising opposition forwards in September. Hell, he could probably go to 40

All the while opponents would be leading out thinking "he can't stay that good on 3 months a year" before an Alex Rance fist appears between their hands just as the ball arrives. FMD they'd say as he recovers first, gathers the ball and charges from defense!

If Clarke Keating can pretty much just play footy in September, Rance surely could!

Read in today's HS of Rance's new business venture leading a trek through Nepal, to promote personal development and leadership skills. At first glance, i thought well there goes any chance of a return, but then towards the end of it i read that it's planned in November, which gives me some hope that he's picked a date - pretty much the only date that would suit if indeed he did make a comeback.

In reality it might be that he's picked that date as it's the best time weather wise. If that is he case, please nobody confirm that, as i still live with some hope of the great man's return.

Maybe he needs to plan his new business first? Maybe he'll want to participate with others first in Nepal treks. He's done and dusted as an AFL player, if not definitely done as a Tiger player imo.

I think whether or not there is a glimmer or hope or not, the team need to concentrate on season 2020 without Alex. They can't be wondering if he's coming back, too distracting.

But I do hope he is around the club.

Yeah Dimma is hosing down all the hope hype.
Keep the focus on the team and the footy.
Things might change in July, but until then to RFC the matter is closed.

He's got 50 years after retirement to find his spirituality.
