Interestingly, the are able to travel this year. That's levelling up. But then again the Essendon rout was telling.
Looking at their personnel Grey is still their best player by a street. He's sound and in form. Wingard getting into some running form is a huge up for them. He's playing actual football instead of that sook striker game. He is in career best form and by a long way. And Paddy Ryder is going just as well.
Jonas has levelled up. (They had nothing in defensive talls.)
Powell Pepper matters to them. He can take heat from Wines and Boak. That's five crucial adds to their poor performing 2016 personnel. There's the mystery clarified.
Westhoff's numbers are the usual. Even up. Less ruck work.
Their midfield is still comprised of Travis Boak, Ollie Wines and Brad Ebert. Matthew Broadbent. Charlie Dixon slowly mayhems around their forward line.
Polec. Impey, Pittard. White. Hombsch. Trengove. Young, Sam Grey, Byrne-Jones. Hartlett. This side has improved but it's still Port Adelaide.
With another year under our belts we win this game by ten goals. We are bankable on the road. Usually. But that Adelaide game, where a *smile* side like Adelaide schooled us on the road worries me.
Betting margin is out of the question this year. The smart bet has proved to be the middle one of the tri bet as it turns out. The thing is we are due to get an imposter by the hair.
$4.25 with TAB. To beat Port Adelaide. Some fancy prices around for minor margins. I gotta have some. And a little something on for us to take em out the back.
