AFL Betting Thread

Tigers are $8.50 against the Dogs who are $1.05

Also same odds for Dees v Pies.

Hawks are my value bet for the week at $2.60 against the Cats.

Cotchin at 14s to top Richmond's Brownlow count looks good value, on the basis that we're only like to garner votes in the Hawthorn and Adelaide games, where he should both poll.

Time to revive this old thread now Rd 1 has come round. Anyone had a punt on Rd 1 yet...

Leysy gunna break the AFL seal on the Lions tonight. They might not win many this year but think this game will be one of them.

$2.20 available.

Been a good punting year, hopefully it continues tonight.

I have a sneaking suspicion the Eagles might make their way into the Top 8 this year.

Cox has had a big preseason, and apart from Kerr, not many injury worries. Never easy playing over here in WA, and although they have a bit of a tough draw, they have some key ingredients for success.

They have a nice looking forward line on paper, with Kennedy at CHF and the emerging Wilson playing at FF. Then you throw in LeCras, and I think Kerr might play in a pocket as well. They also have a decent defence.

Early start on the drink today Streaker. ;D

Don't mind Sydney at 2.04. Frawley up back is big loss. Goodes should dominate. Scully also not playing. Although Sydney do have a few outs of their own.

Melbourne have a good history against Sydney of late - flogged 'em last year from memory?

Bugger, just saw this. And Leysy doesn't like me looking at West Coast for value. $2.20 on the Lions. That is too short on anything they will achieve except winning the spoon.

The Lions certainly arent a team you would back all year but did you see the game Streak...

Yeah, I saw it. Thought Fyfe was incredible for a pretty lame Dockers outfit that tried their best to thrown it away. Couple of lucky decisions at the end.

But realistically, Dockers were wasteful in front of goal, and should have put the game on ice well before.

Lions were brave, I'll give them that.

Freo were right for the picking was leysy's premise. Which was correct.

Either of Brown or Staker aren't innocuosly injured & the result reversed. 100% of the time.

Hopefully Browny's not out for a long time. His Random injury cost them the game tonight but he is an old school footballer who is great to watch. Hopefully back soon.

well i understand now how Leysy claims such a high success rate of winning tips. Even when he loses he claims it as a win! :rofl
