Yze has been told if he gets the gig who does he bring as assistants. Buckley and Cotchin. Bucks and Cotch are brought into the club to also front the panel. This is my take on what happened.

totally agree. He has it good in the media, younger spouse, second fiddle is not his thing.
I'd take that every day of the week. Don't care who's in the polo if we snag another one.
I think the panel know what they want.
But not necessarily how probable the plans put forward by each wannabe, are likely to succeed.
None of them recent player’s, or coaches for that matter.
That’s why I suggested they get Cotch involved, right after he announced. And if you are seeking information on proposed strategy and the coaching of it, there aren’t too many who know more than Buckley.
Any way it looks close and that there is a level of uncertainty, which Brendon and the others are troubled by.
It is a little bit off the wall but what if both agreed to share the responsibilities.
One with overall responsibility for strategy and selection and the other with overall control in respect of player development, training and game day. One upstairs one down.
Obviously both would have to agree..Or is that just too crazy?

In any organization their has to be a chain of command and someone ultimately responsible for making decisions.
To dilute this structure is to enable weakness and dysfunctional outcomes.
As already evidenced by our 2 captain strategy which imho has been a disaster!
Well we have two captains which has worked a treat why mot go with the two coach thing as well
Reckon Yze presented the same presentation he gave the board to Cotch and Bucks and they‘ve been tasked with poking holes in it before the board signs off on Ouzo’s structure and game style. It’s a check off from externals. Makes sense.
Very interesting scoop. I like it. Very thorough and makes sense.
Bucks has actually done that before. He was an assistant to Malthouse in 2010 when Collingwood won the flag.
