A tinnie at the footy

So warm cans at the footy instead of plastic cups. Are they gunna pop the seal on the cans before they hand them out so troglodytes can't chuck a full can at players or oppo supporters during a game?? Limit of two cans per customer again so that it's difficult to pre load an ice filled cooler bag before game time to save queueing up over n over again during the game.

What’s the bet it won’t be a can of VB or Carlton Draught on offer......it’ll be some crap beer like Furphy, or some other rubbish with a fruit fragrance......and to top it off, it’ll cost over $10 for a can

That's like saying things are pretty good because your husband only beats you on Wednesdays.

Beer in cans at the footy, eh. Like the 70s except you can't bring your own and you need a second mortgage.

Pirate life….seriously I’ve only ever walked away leaving a half pint at a bar at the footy and it was when they served me that *smile*.

Hear ! Hear ! Furphy is absolute garbage. As is any craft-fruity beer.

I remember standing on steel cans as a kid to be able to see better, i also remember the kids raiding the isles collecting all the empties to get a bit of pocket money. Cant see that happening these days.

I remember that, too. Good days. I suppose one advantage of cans, is that it’s harder to spill.

Still worth 5c IIRC. How does inflation really work??
