$10 a can is pretty good going when you go out these days. What’s the bet it won’t be a can of VB or Carlton Draught on offer......it’ll be some crap beer like Furphy, or some other rubbish with a fruit fragrance......and to top it off, it’ll cost over $10 for a can

Then why link the Murdoch media article?I missed that, Murdoch media slow on the uptake again, they're too busy with their propaganda stories.
Remember when you were allowed bring your esky chocker block full of beer to the footy? Warm cans were never a problem at the G then..........the good old days !!So warm cans at the footy instead of plastic cups. Are they gunna pop the seal on the cans before they hand them out so troglodytes can't chuck a full can at players or oppo supporters during a game??
Hear ! Hear ! Furphy is absolute garbage. As is any craft-fruity beer. What’s the bet it won’t be a can of VB or Carlton Draught on offer......it’ll be some crap beer like Furphy, or some other rubbish with a fruit fragrance......and to top it off, it’ll cost over $10 for a can

They were good days.I remember standing on steel cans as a kid to be able to see better, i also remember the kids raiding the isles collecting all the empties to get a bit of pocket money. Cant see that happening these days.
I remember that, too. Good days. I suppose one advantage of cans, is that it’s harder to spill.I remember standing on steel cans as a kid to be able to see better, i also remember the kids raiding the isles collecting all the empties to get a bit of pocket money. Cant see that happening these days.
Still worth 5c IIRC. How does inflation really work??I remember standing on steel cans as a kid to be able to see better, i also remember the kids raiding the isles collecting all the empties to get a bit of pocket money. Cant see that happening these days.
