IT would seem problematic to wait until the end of september to select the coach.
Trade week starts almost immediately after the GF.
List decisions, trade plans and draft plans need the new coach onboard.
I'm hoping the decision is made asap
(And if Yze we can announce later)

RFC coach. Only three or four blokes have applied. Two of them already work at RFC. RFC is keeping its options open until Adam Yze, who may be demonstrably useless but works for a club still in the finals, deigns to be interviewed. This perennial reject has applied for the job. *(IKR!)

*RFC should burn him and get a genius instead. Somebody who respects the club.*

We have no applicants.

You go Grrrrrl-yze! Woot! Yze! You god! Bring on the change, Oooooze. We can wait until you're ready. Thank you. Mr Yze.

Pretty harsh on Mr Yze. I think a Japanese coach would be good.

Surely it gets announced end of this week before finals week.

Wouldn't bet on it. I reckon the Jack Dyer Medal date says a lot. 3 October, week after the GF. Normally, teams that don't make the finals get their B&F out of the way in the week or two after the season. In 2021, we would have already done the B&F by now.

I reckon we will be steadfast in our position that it will be announced in the week of the GF with the JDM being the first public address of the new coach in front of the club members and supporters.

Someone on BF saying we have already appointed the new coach but won’t be announcing until the team they are involved is out of the finals. Would suggest Yze is that man.

Who knows how true it is though.

If Mini had tried to promote himself, he probably would have wanted the best players on the park, not to let them be rested or managed in the final rounds.
He took one for the club.
Virtually every other club has copied the Richmond style, with varying degrees of success, stupid to bring someone different in.

He didn’t.
