Just going through it again NO Josh Murphy 190cm forward kicked 32 goals in 11 games in coates league ,he is a really good player on his day,a bit like Armstrong ,can be hot or cold .

Cwood: had a few in range that were taken just before our very late selections, but believe Mraz and Charleson are good chances to be regular AFL players barring injury. Kennedy and Ivisic are a bit on the small side but they can rack them up and both have massive engines and can run all day so you never know.

Port took Faull as a forward replacement for Dixon ,.we also find Vic country player's are less likely to return back home..
Barrat we think will be a great versatile 3rd forward or back type,,,,Archer Day Wicks is a x factor forward who can turn a game quickly ,but needs to be more consistent .
Lachie Jaques very underrated hb ,is a excellent lock down type who is hard at it,and provides run from the backline.
Overall we are not happy because we missed on a couple .

Yeah he appears to have stagnated.

I dont really understand how transitioning from u18's, skipping a grade, to senior state league,

and contributing consistently and demonstrably (small forward; 2 tackles and 1.5 goals/game n=5)

is stagnation?

or do you mean stagnation in the manner of a fairly fast flowing river?

its academic; west coast take him and I expect the kid makes the grade as much as I expected Darcy Jones would.

Va Norfs traded the juicy pick #2 down to pick up Armstrong for his VG goal sense; pack-splitting* Oliver Hannaford to add some bite and some brisk defence, and Cooper Hynes for a bit of beef around the ball, protection and chop out for Wardlaw and the other little ones.

Norfs rookie list- Jacob Newton, Evan Bradley, Jaxon Artemis and Alex Mirkov. Improving pace profile from the ground up. Pace NFG at Norfs.

*Once he's on an AFL list he'll have enough money to split his pack of Winnie Blues with his ol mates.

Yeah, so now go and explain to that dunce Rawlings why and how he needs to back out of 2 because given how useless he is, I can't be sure that he gets it.

You turned Tauru into Armstrong, Hannaford and Hynes whereas him and Norf are just as likely to turn Tauru into a kennebec.

Oh, yeah, I totally agree that Norfs should trade #2 down if they want a tall. But here's the thing. I probably just picked em up three duds.

BTW they are real *smile* slow. They need bite. And shoulda stayed in this draft. Caleb Daniel? FMD. They need pace. Luke Parker? It's totally stopgap panic. NMFC should have added another four in this draft.

Pffft. Don't worry about Norf. When they become the NT Kangaroos it'll all come together.

Melbourne took Smith & Tauru with the top picks, I have those two ranked at 1 & 5 so I'm pretty pleased. I think I've landed a couple of safe core players and I'm looking at Tauru as a viable forward, I think his timing & leap screams natural footballer and that's difficult to find. Intercept defender also an important position so this pick fairly safe in my opinion.

My smokey is Charlie West, he has vice like hands, good acceleration, good leap and can chop out in the ruck. Kicking is the worry but you can't have everything at this point in the draft. I think if his kicking can be refined then he could make the grade, his SANFL games were poor but forwards need continuity so I'm not going to read much into that. If he grows to 198cm then his ruck impact could also rise in the process.

Its not a knock on him, just a question.
Stagnation isnt a good phrase.
Maybe he's doing the same as last year.

Im trying to work out why he isnt in any discussions.
It doesnt even seem as if the media includes him in WCEs bounty.
Like they do with Kako etc.
Maybe I just havent seen the articles.
Will WC match? Will other clubs bid?
The nga and recent changes has added a confusing layer to this draft

Googlied up a W.A. football article about him n there was mention of him having a concussion early this year. Nothing about multiples. Seems the kids had a fairly crap run of family passing the last year or two, but he's putting all his focus n efforts into getting drafted n being the best player he can be.
I read that on the west coast board where they were discussing it and were divided about the possibility of getting even more with his size and the way he plays
